The first batch of Oyo State Government Bicycles has been delivered by Awa Bike Nigeria.
Remember, the Oyo State Government in January, 2021 authorized the sum of N750,000 for the acquisition of 60 bicycles that will convey civil servants within the state Secretariat; Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
This was broadcasted by the Oyo state’s Commissioner for Energy and Natural resources, Hon. Seun Ashamu, stating that these Oyo State Government bicycles, would be nicknamed as “Keke Seyi” and the pilot scheme would be within a stipulated period of three months.
According to Ashamu, the bicycles were supplied by Awa Bike, and they would aid health protocols and procedures.
