Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) on Tuesday afternoon paid a courtesy visit to Oyo State PDP Working Committee.
OYSIEC during their visitation to the PDP Working Committee at the state party secretariat, Molete in Ibadan promised the people of Oyo State a free and fair election, urged PDP and other political parties to allow internal democracy.
The commission also disclosed that, the Local Government election timetable will be release in January 2021.
Speaking further, the Chairman of OYSIEC, Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju assured that Governor Seyi Makinde will not interfere in the electoral process and council poll, said power belongs to the people while the people will be the one to decide who is to be elected.
