The permutations for who will become the next President of Nigeria is in full gear as posters of former Kwara state governor and ex senate President; Abubakar Bukola Saraki emerged at strategic spots in Ibadan, the Oyo state Capital.
The posters with incriptions; “Let Nigeria work again and again” and “Abubakar Bukola Saraki for President of Nigeria in 2023,” was reportedly seen on Monday Morning.
Saraki served as Governor of Kwara State from 2003 to 2011 on the Peoples Democratic Party’s platform (PDP).
Saraki who moved from PDP to APC after ruling Kwara state for eight years, later became Senate President between 2015 and 2019.
He then left APC and rejoined PDP during the buildup to the 2019 general elections.
The posters which are allegely said to be pasted on Sunday night have been spotted in places like Mokola, Roundabout, Uncle Joe, and Adamasingba ahead of the 2023 election.
At this moment, it’s unknown whether the former Senate president is aware of the posters and efforts to clarify and inform the former senate President’s media aides have hit a brick wall.
