Engineer Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a governorship aspirant, has condemned the killing of scores of Oyo State Indigenes which happened in the late hours of Sunday.
Speaking at Ibarapaland, where he hosted an empowerment program facilitated by Omigborotiti Foundation, Tegbe relayed his condolences to the indigenes of Igangan and Ibarapa land on the painful loss of loved ones and properties to the horrific bloodshed.
He also urged the Inspector General of Police to ensure that the hotspots for banditry and terror are well equipped with personnel and machinery to tackle the insecurity plaguing Oyo and other states.
He also advised traditional rulers and citizens to ensure they report suspicious activities, immediately they see them.
