Students of Ejioku Secondary School in the Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State have taken to the streets to protest the death of four fellow students who were killed by a truck conveying sand on Monday morning.
It was gathered that the pupils were going to school on a bike, when the truck crushed them to death along Iwo-Ibadan Expressway.
The incident forced students of the school to begin vandalising articulated vehicles in Ejioku.
The police public relations officer in the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the crisis, assuring that the police would do everything to nip it in the bud and restore peace in the area.
