S/W Zonal Congress: April 10, 2021 is Sacrosanct – Dare Adeleke

Dare Adeleke, Chairman Oyo State Pacesetters Company, has reportey described a statement credited to Mr Femi Babalola over the PDP South West zonal Congress, as pathetic and ignorable.
Mr Babalola identifies as a leader of opposition in Oyo State, had said that the April 10 was a ruse because according to him, the National Organising Secretary of the party must have been pressured to make the announcement. He also said the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party would not take such decision knowing that there is a court injunction restraining it.
Dare Adeleke who spoke to some online media reporter on phone said: “I would ordinarily not react to clowns but since you have called, I will try to respond”
“How can such an ignorable fellow as the so called Femi Babalola assume that the National Secretary of our great party was pressured to make an announcement. Is he talking to kindergarten children or is he risking sounding like a simpleton because he, Babalola was pressured to make that kind of senseless statement?

“It is obvious that Femi Babalola is blowing the trumpet of discord despite the hand of fellowship extended to him and his villainous gang by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde. As I said, I wouldn’t have replied to his myopic views but to put the record straight, there will be zonal congress on Saturday 10th of April. I can understand his fears. He has never been a delegate from on set.”

“In what manner is someone pressured to make a statement that concerns the whole party?

“I wont be surprised if he is working against the party at this point but unfortunately for him he doesn’t have a political base not even in his local govt at Afijio LGA or Ibadan South West. You guys should please ask him to tell us where he comes from. You see, today is holiday, we should be talking about more important things”.

On other allegations that the National Working Committee, NWC, couldn’t have fixed the date because of a court injunction, Adeleke said: “I made it clear the other day that the NWC is an independent body. If there is any legal reason why the Congress should not hold, they know what to do”. He said.
“By the way, if some people are so desperate for titles, they should go and buy Chieftaincy title from anywhere. What is the meaning of leader of the opposition against Seyi Makinde? Such a title does not exist anywhere in the South West, let alone, Oyo State. The man who calls himself Femi Babalola is a joke and should not be taken seriously. He is a small fry speaking for his masters who know they have already lost the plot. Their conspiracy has failed. I can only advise Jogor, to stop playing to gallery and stop making mockery of himself.”

We have moved beyond his rhetorics. What we are thinking about and working on now is how Osun and Ekiti states, will be won in 2022. Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, shall lead the assault against the APC. Prophets of doom like Femi should either shape in or ship out”.

Adeleke once again stressed that April 10, 2021 is sacrosanct and advised party members to stop listening to those he called, detractors and enemies of the PDP.
