The Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) in a swift respond to the cry for help by Ona-Ara residents and commuters over the collapse of the temporary alternative route, created at the construction of Tioya bridge along Amuloko axis of Ibadan metropolis, has created another alternative route for commuters.
The previous alternative route collapsed yesterday after the heavy downpour which left many stranded and destroyed a few properties.
OYRTMA therefore enjoins residents and motorists plying the route to take the following alternative route.
Motorists heading to Amuloko are advised to ply Iyana Awotunde to join Iyana Tioya
Motorists heading to Muslim and environs from Amuloko are advised to ply Abo’nde, Ogbere Area.
Meanwhile, Chairman, OYRTMA, Dr. Mogaji Akin Fagbemi has charged all commuters to cooperate with officials of the authority who have been deployed to maintain orderliness and assist motorists whilst reconstruction continues in the area, for the safety of all and free flow of movement.
