Oyo state Ready to Move Light-up Oyo to Tribrid System

The Seyi Makinde led administration of Oyo state has declared that it is prepared to switch the project’s fuel source from a fuel source to a tribrid system.

According to Mr. Seun Asamu, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, the development is a result of the state government’s efforts to guarantee the project’s sustainability, consistency, and efficacy across the state’s geopolitical zones.

Asamu pointed out that the state government is presently working on the light-up Oyo project with the intention of transferring its power source from the primary fuel source to the initially intended tribrid system.

Immediately following an examination of the ongoing routine corrective maintenance of damaged poles in Ibadan and all other impacted areas around the state, Asamu made this information public.

The Ministry Director of Electrical Engineers, Banji Adeola, oversaw the routine inspection of the electric poles around the city of Ibadan.

The usual trip included stops at Awolowo Aare Road, Agbowo Bodija Road, and Ikolaba.

According to the commissioner, the primary goal of the normal inspection was to go over electric poles that had been knocked over by careless drivers, destroyed by thugs, and cables that had been taken by masked persons.

Seun Asamu, the state commissioner for energy and mineral resources, told reporters after the inspection tour that the state light-up program is returning to its original design after initially using diesel to carry out the priority of the administration led by governor Seyi Makinde to illuminate the state.

As a result, he urged the public to consider themselves co-owners of the enterprise.

The Pacesetter State’s residents were advised by the Commissioner to report any pole damage caused by careless driving, theft, mechanical problems, or vandalism.

At some of the areas visited, electrical engineers could be seen fixing power poles.
