Oyo state government today began the vaccination of its people with the activities starting with the governor and his Deputy at the state secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
It was gathered that the state government was willing to make sure frontline health workers for Covid-19 in Oyo state get vaccinated in the first phase of the vaccination as other activities sequel.
Recall that it was reported that 127,000 Oxford AstraZeneca doses of Covid-19 vaccine were distributed by the Federal Government to vaccinate residents of the state, also the state had claimed to delay vaccination on basis of sterility test as it demands cause of global concerns on AstraZeneca and its side effects.
