He promised to boost the security architecture of the council and empower the men of the vigilante and other security forces to complement the endless efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde while promising to repair the bus of the local vigilantes.

His words: “We are living in a very critical time, the issue of insecurity is a National issue. Almost all the states in the country are facing one security challenge or the other. But that’s not an alibi, I am elected to provide security and protect life and that is what I am doing and will keep doing”.

He mentioned that he has ordered the procurement officer to provide every necessary help which will enhance the smooth operation of the group.

He said the town is peaceful because of the peaceful and loving nature of the people of Saki and its environs.

He said “You see, the peace we are enjoying here is a cumulative effort of our accommodating and peace-loving people. The contribution of our King, Baale and every head of the family and our diligent and vigilant Hunters can not be overemphasized”

Similarly, the chairman also fulfilled his promise to the community during Ero-Omo Community Association’s visit to his office shortly after assuming office.

During the presentation of the poles on Thursday, Omirinde said “It is part of my plan to make sure we upgrade the state of electricity infrastructures under the local government power to avert any possible power outage in any community under me”.

He urged the Ero-Omo Community Development association to promptly make use of the pole to restore the power outage in the community and make sure the people enjoy electricity.

He also promised to continue answering their call and he will never abandon them.

Meanwhile, the Ero Omo Community has written an appreciation letter to the chairman thanking him for fulfilling his promise.

In the letter signed by the Chairman, Hon Muhammad Olajide and Secretary, Arch Yekeen I. O., the community relayed their genuine gratitude and appreciation praying that Allah will continue to protect him and make him successful.
