According to reports, the former governor passed away on Friday afternoon in Ibadan.
According to sources connected to Olunloyo’s family, he has been experiencing health problems for the past few weeks and is seeking treatment.
Efforts to get the Oyo State Government to confirm the former governor’s passing failed Friday evening because Taiwo Adisa, the governor’s spokesman, remained silent.
However, a source in the governor’s office claimed that the governor was waiting for approval from the family before proceeding with an official notification of the passing.
