Ilaka, Debo Akande, other Oyo officials meet with Ogun/Osun River Basin Authority

In what seems like the furtherance of the pursuit of the Oyo State Governor, Governor Seyi Makinde, to fulfill one of his key manifestoes, officials led by the Governor’s Chief of staff, Chief Bisi Ilaka led a team from Oyo state to meet with officials of Ogun/Osun River Basin Authority.

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the existing synergy between the Management and the Oyo State Government as well as explore areas of collaboration in Agriculture Irrigation, Water Supply and other areas within the Authority’s mandates.

This was revealed by Chief Bisi Ilaka on his Twitter handle.

Recall that barely three months into office Governor Seyi Makinde met with the of Managing Director of Ogun/Osun River Basin Authority, Mr Olufemi Odumosun, based on getting the water body of Ikere George Dam for Oyo state.

The meeting also has in attendance, the Executive Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Dr. Debo Akande
