Ibadan High Court Jail FUNAAB Student, 4 others for Cyber-Fraud


A High Court Sitting in Ibadan has jailed one Gbadeyinka Abeeb Adeyemi, who claimed to be a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and four for their involvement in Cybercrimes and other fraudulent activities.
The plaintiff; the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command after series of investigations dragged Gbadeyinka Adeyemi and four others before Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court in Ibadan, Oyo state, on Thursday.
Gbadeyinka Adeyemi and others identified as: Omolafe Olakunle Banjo (as Ronald Siegal); Ojuade Oluwafemi (aka Mary Reese); Ogundeji Bolaji Ibrahim (aka Allison Katte); and Oketunbi Kayode Moses pleaded guilty to separate charges of identity fraud with the intent to deceive.
