I Pray To God, To Impeach President Buhari for Nigeria’s peace – Bishop Wale Oke

Bishop Francis Wale Oke, National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and the presiding Bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, described President Muhammadu Buhari as a woeful leader.

He was speaking at his church’s vigil at the auditorium of the Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Garden of Victory, Ibadan.

Adding that, he has started praying to God to impeach him for Nigeria to be peaceful.

According to the Oke, He said, Nigeria was bleeding and under siege, adding that the present situation of the Country is because of the current administration failures

“Even during the civil war, Nigeria didn’t witness as many killings”, saying at that time, only the East was boiling.

“Sadly today, everywhere in Nigeria is a theatre of war with many killings and bloodshed going on in the country every day,” Oke was quoted to have said.

“The President should be removed if that would pave the way for the desired peace in the country. In the 1960s, when Nigeria fought a civil war, the eastern part of the nation was the theatre of war.

“Some wicked people kidnapped some students and demanded N800m for their release; they killed them. The government did not lift a finger, and you are telling me that the President has not failed. Buhari has failed. For the first time, I have found myself praying that God should remove Buhari.

“They kidnapped students without the government doing anything, and you are telling me that the government has not failed. Are you saying we cannot move against an incompetent government whose security apparatus has collapsed?”

The cleric, who is not afraid of expressing his views, added that now is the time for Nigerians to be very concerned about the Nation’s situation.

Oke accused the federal government of enabling killer herdsmen, yet they were quick to attack Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue when he spoke against the president.

“It is a shame that government could not protect those in Internally Displaced Person camps which led to the massacre of many of them in Benue State. The Presidency is now attacking Governor Ortom, who was weeping over his people that were slaughtered,” he said.

“Now is the time for all Nigerians to show concern. We invoke the judgment of God on these people. Oh, arrow of the Lord, we release against them. The sword of the Lord cut them off.

“Give us peace by all means, even if it means removing an incompetent and a failed President. Oh God, do it quickly and give us peace by all means. Give us a quick change at the top level of government of Nigeria.”
