DSS Arrests Ibadan-based Construction Boss over N3 billion fraud, Impersonation
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested acclaimed Ibadan based engineering mogul; Bukola Odeleye, the Chief Executive Officer of Beedel Construction, for fraudulent conduct and impersonation.
According to accounts, Bukola, has commercial billboards all around Ibadan, but no development sites in Oyo State.
He recently constructed an office complex on Ade-Oyo Hospital Road and placed his insignias at the Ososami/Iyana Ade Oyo junction to give the idea that he is a legitimate civil contractor.
Accordig to a source who spokenin the condition if anonymity; Some victims whose money went down the drain due to a bogus contract reported Bukola Odeleye to the DSS.
He stated further, “Based on this, the BEEDEL CEO was arrested for a N750,000,000 case of fraud, a N3bn fraud case, procession of cloned Local Purchase Order, LPO, and charges of impersonation hanging on him. You know people thought this man is an engineer but far from it. Has anyone seen him displaying his COREN certificate?”
According to information gathered so far at the DSS office in Ibadan, Oyo State, Mr Bukola Odeleye is in deeper trouble, as the funds were collected from unsuspecting investors using cloned LPOs who were duped into accepting government or multinational contracts, and the source of the fake contract letter and LPO is currently with DSS operatives who were dispatched to Ibadan to effect his arrest.
