A new president of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), in the name of Prince Oluyemisi Adetayo Adeaga, has been elected on Friday.
Adeaga won against his arch-rival, Waheed Ekun, in a tight election.
The President-elect polled 58 out of the 93 votes cast while Waheed Ekun picked up 35 votes.
Adeaga takes over from Prince Yemi Soladoye.
Oluyemisi Adetayo Adeaga (Prince) JP is a board member of the Nigerian Red Cross.
He is a Chartered Accountant (CNA) and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (ICPAN).
He holds BSC Degree in Business Administration and MBA (Marketing Option).
