Alalade Fires 3SC To Home Win

Shooting Stars football club of Ibadan today emerged 1-0 winners over their opponents Katsina United in a match that took place at the Adamasingba stadium in Ibadan.

The match, was the 2nd home game for 3SC this season after their last home draw to Akwa United on Boxing Day about a week ago.

It was an enthralling encounter as both teams struggled to make an impact early in the match. Unfortunately, both teams were tied level at halftime.

However in the 67th minute, W. Alalade came to the rescue of 3SC as he scored a fantastic goal from a tight angle to break the deadlock

Katsina United pressed on for an equaliser in the dying minutes of the game but shooting stars held on for a well deserved win.

The result takes shooting stars to 12th on the current league standings.
