Three men alleged to be human body-part ritualist has been arrested and paraded by the South-Western Security Network (Operation Amotekun) in Oyo State for beheading a 76-year-old man, Adeniyi Adebisi Samuel.
Mr. Akinro Kazeem, the state’s Deputy Commandant of Amotekun while parading the ritualistat the Amotekun headquarters in Dandaru, Ibadan, on Tuesday disclosed that the suspects were apprehended following intelligence information from members of the public
One of the alleged criminals, Olalekan Akande, 27, confessed to the crime, saying he stabbed the man with a knife and butchered him with a cutlass.
He admitted that he and his gang members have been selling human body parts for a long time.
The suspects have been held in custody at the Amotekun Station for further investigation and will be charged before a competent authority as soon as possible.
