The Oyo state government under the leadership of governor Seyi Makinde has procured no fewer than 1000 (one thousand) units of brand new computers for ministries, departments, and agencies of the state government in its drive to enhance efficiency at workplace.
The Special Assistant to governor Seyi Makinde on Information Communication Technology (ICT) Mr Bayo Akande, stated that the Oyo state government has taken delivery of 1000 units of computers ready to be commissioned by governor Seyi Makinde on Thursday 17th December, 2020 at the state Secretariat.
Mr Akande noted that all necessary internet infrastructures within the secretariat to enable easy and fast internet services have been installed.
He explained that the Oyo state government has already launched its official website for all government activities including collection of workers data, recruitments, payments of salaries, payment of gratuities, tracking of workers files, history, and all sorts of operations of government in the state.
